Green Thumb Industries seeks self-motivated individuals passionate about cannabis cultivation at our Clinton, MA facility. The company emphasizes safety, compliance, and precision in a heavily regulated industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care and maintenance for healthy, strong cannabis plants
- Top, bottom, transplant, and defoliate plants according to standards
- Scout for disease and pest issues regularly
- Train plants and tend various growing media types
- Prepare harvest rooms and take down plants when ready
- Defoliate, break plants into smaller pieces, and hang on drying racks
- Clean dry and flower rooms between harvests
- Perform sweeping, mopping, and facility sanitation
- Maintain plant housing devices, tables, and pots
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to management
- Follow GMP, biosecurity, and quality compliance requirements
- Perform accurate record keeping as directed
- Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment
Working Conditions:
- Regular reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, and repetitive motions
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs with extreme care
- Work in 85+ degree environments at 70% humidity for extended periods
- Work at heights of 6–8 feet using catwalks, ladders, and scaffolds
- Daily exposure to cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil allergens
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED minimum; associate degree or certifications preferred
- Prior cannabis experience not required
- Minimum 21 years old, valid state ID
- Ability to obtain and maintain state badging (background check required)
- U.S. work authorization required
Compensation: $18.50 – $19.00 USD hourly. Positions may be eligible for discretionary annual incentives based on organizational and individual performance.
