Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is a national cannabis consumer packaged goods company and retailer. We operate RISE Dispensaries and a family of brands including RYTHM, Dogwalkers, Beboe, and Good Green. The Plant Controller is a manufacturing facility leadership role combining plant operations oversight with financial management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Execute monthly financial closing per GAAP and company standards - Prepare variance analyses and financial result summaries with facility management - Coordinate physical inventories, SOX compliance, and audit activities - Generate daily/weekly labor utilization reports with headcount tracking - Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes - Evaluate capital projects and manage approval workflows - Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation calculations - Conduct operational trend analysis and forecasting - Facilitate site-level financial meetings and leadership discussions - Monitor KPI data and identify performance trends - Lead cross-functional improvement teams - Determine standard costs for materials, inventory, and labor - Oversee inventory controls and reconciliation procedures - Manage balance sheet account reconciliations - Lead ERP implementation at facility level - Hire, train, and develop finance team members Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum 8 years accounting experience; 5+ years in operations finance or cost accounting within manufacturing - Demonstrated mastery of accounting principles and regulations - Self-directed, innovative approach to problem-solving - Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Strong critical thinking capabilities - Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy - Must pass background checks and obtain state badging agency approval Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 USD. Positions may be eligible for discretionary annual incentive programs.
