Cresco Labs is a publicly traded, vertically integrated cannabis operator with locations nationwide. We operate Sunnyside dispensaries and focus on normalizing cannabis through professionalism, community engagement, and industry-leading standards. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM. Pay: $31.50 – $35/hr. The Automation Technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and optimizes automated production and packaging systems throughout the facility, with emphasis on automation controls, electrical systems, and equipment reliability. Core Responsibilities: - Maintain and repair PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, drives, and control devices - Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), and variable frequency drives (VFD) - Interpret electrical schematics and manufacturer documentation - Support installation and commissioning of new automation equipment - Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems - Troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment including baggers, conveyors, and labelers - Optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements - Ensure OSHA compliance and lockout/tagout procedures - Train operators on equipment operation Required Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years experience with automated industrial or packaging equipment - Demonstrated electrical and automation troubleshooting ability - Proficiency reading electrical schematics - Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial components - Familiarity with sensors, relays, motor controls, and VFDs - Knowledge of industrial safety procedures (LOTO) - Experience with Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar PLC platforms - Technical certification or associate degree in Automation, Industrial Controls, or Electrical Technology - Industrial networking/SCADA experience preferred - Must be 21+ years old with legal U.S. work authorization Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching, FSA/HSA, life insurance, paid holidays and PTO, potential bonuses.
